All our static and inertia seat belts are available in two distinct styles: Modern and Period. A range of options is available for each style, as outlined below.
Modern seat belts are typically supplied with black components, including modern black plastic buckles with red or orange release buttons. Black webbing is supplied as standard, with a choice of over 60 alternative webbing colours available—most at no additional cost (some exceptions may apply; please ask). Chrome components, such as pillar loops and mounting bolts, can also be specified.
Period Style Seat belts
All period style seat belts feature chrome aircraft-style buckles and a choice of webbing colours. Please note that, under UK regulations, period-style buckles are not suitable for vehicles manufactured after December 1972 and are not recommended for children under 11–12 years of age.
Seat belt prices start from:
£49.50 – Modern static belts
£75.00 – Period static belts
£82.50 – Modern inertia belts
£110.50 – Period inertia belts
Prices shown are for basic seat belts only and are per unit. Custom brackets, additional components, VAT, postage and packaging, and fitting are not included.
Seat belts are a critical safety component and must always be maintained to the highest standard. Regular inspection and prompt repair or replacement at the first sign of wear or malfunction is essential to ensure occupant safety.
For classic and period vehicles, we aim to retain and refurbish original components wherever it is safe to do so, preserving authenticity and originality. Where components are worn, damaged, or unsuitable for reuse, we can replace them with newly manufactured or carefully sourced parts, ensuring both safety and period-correct appearance.
We refurbish and reweb most modern seat belts, using new webbing and components where required, while ensuring full compliance with current safety standards and manufacturer requirements.
We now offer a specialist service to repair modern pretensioner retractors, allowing original seat belt assemblies to be retained while restoring correct operation and safety performance.
To suit every vehicle and personal preference, we offer a wide range of seat belt components, webbing colours, and custom options, covering both classic and modern applications.
We stock an extensive range of seat belt components, including buckles and clasps finished in chrome, stainless steel, or zinc plating. Where original components are no longer available, we have them remanufactured and safety tested to ensure full compliance with the relevant standards.
These include specialist items such as Y- and D-shaped anchor plates, commonly found in marques including Aston Martin, Jaguar, and Austin-Healey.
We carry over 60 colours and textures of seat belt webbing, ranging from modern finishes to authentic period styles from the 1950s and 1960s. While exact OE colour matches are not always possible, we will always aim to achieve the closest match.
A bespoke webbing service is also available, allowing colours to be matched to sample, along with options for custom-printed logos or text (minimum runs and additional costs apply).

Established in September 1962, Quickfit Safety Belt Services has over 60 years’ experience fitting seat belts and restraint systems to vehicles of every era. We work closely with leading restorers and marque specialists, and many vehicles we have equipped have gone on to be presented at concours events worldwide—a reflection of our standards, discretion, and attention to detail.
Seat belts are life-saving components and must be installed correctly to perform as intended. This is particularly critical in classic vehicles, where original factory mounting points were often poorly positioned or limited to static belts. We regularly design and install new mounting points to accommodate modern inertia systems, ensuring correct geometry, comfort, and safety without compromising originality.
We understand precisely how seat belts function, the importance of correct mounting positions and webbing angles, and the risks associated with poor installation. Every installation is carried out with safety as the priority, informed by decades of hands-on experience.
We offer competitive labour rates and, for most vehicles, a 2–3 hour turnaround for fitting a pair of seat belts. More complex vehicles—including aluminium-bodied, fibreglass, or vintage wooden-framed cars—may require additional time.
In addition to fitting and refurbishment, we now offer a specialist repair service for modern pretensioner retractors, allowing original seat belt assemblies to be retained while restoring full safety performance.

Automatic
What is Fireflex?
FIREFLEX is a fully automatic self seeking fire extinguisher system, designed for specific designated applications rather than as a flood system, though it can be used for this purpose also.
What are the advantages of Fireflex?
FIREFLEX is simple to fit; it has a wide range of applications and can be adapted to suit most requirements. It is a self-activating system that does not rely on electronics, moving parts or external monitors. It is versatile allowing for different areas to be covered by the same unit.
FIREFLEX uses unique trace tubing that can both detect the fire and deliver the extinguishing media to the heart of the fire. The trace tube is directly pressurised from the cylinder and is traced around the area of risk to be protected.
Ideal applications are enclosed areas such as engines, control cabinets and machines, such as spark erosion, and lathe and anywhere the risk is in a confined or enclosed space.
FIREFLEX is available in sizes ranging from 0.75kg up to 9.0kg giving total flood protection for volumes up to approximately 11 cubic metres. Different extinguishing media are available to suit various applications where contamination or chemical reaction may be critical.
Not recommended for PCV (passenger carrying vehicles), but can be used on service/maintenance vehicles and many other applications including electrical systems.
