Quickfit Safety Belt Services was founded by Bill Quick in September 1962 and has over 60 years’ experience fitting seat belts to cars and commercial vehicles.

In the early 1960s, ahead of mandatory seat belt legislation in 1964, nearly 70 companies were manufacturing or supplying seat belts. Today, Quickfit Safety Belt Services (SBS) is the only company from that era still operating under its original name — a testament to our expertise, quality, and longevity.

Managed by Stuart Quick since the mid-1980s, we specialise in reproducing and fitting period-correct seat belts for classic vehicles, manufactured to original 1960s and early-1970s specifications. We also design and manufacture seat belts to modern standards for vehicles of all ages and types.

All Quickfit seat belts are manufactured in accordance with European Standard R16 and under ISO 9002 quality control procedures. Modern seat belts are tested to ECE R16, while period-style seat belts for vehicles up to 1973 are tested to British Standard BS 3254.
